2024-2025 VFLA Poster Contest

This year theme: 

World Language: a Core Subject 

Calling all VOCALE members of French and Spanish -- and their students! You are cordially invited to participate in the Vermont Organization of Classics and Language Educators  4th annual poetry recitation contest and community event. 

Each participant, in grades Pre-K - 12 will be asked to recite from memory one pre-selected poem by  May 1,  2025. Students will record their recitations and teachers will upload the recordings so that VOCALE's panel of judges can evaluate the performances.

Contest winners will earn a prize of $50, and be honored in a ceremony and celebration at the Vermont State House in May (date TBA).
