Bienvenidos! Bienvenue!

Calling all VOCALE members of French and Spanish -- and their students!

You are cordially invited to participate in the Vermont Organization of Classics and Language Educators  3rd annual poetry recitation contest and community event.

Each participant, in grades Pre-K - 12 will be asked to recite from memory one pre-selected poem between Sunday, April 14 and Friday, April 26, 2024. Students will record their recitations using FlipGrid, and a panel of judges will review the recordings.

Judging is based on pronunciation, memorization, and performance, and awards will be given in each category.

REGISTER by Friday April 10th at 3pm!  (Students can only access FlipGrid when they are registered.)

All the information you need can be found by clicking on the navigation tabs at the top of this page.

Thank you to all who participated in our 2nd Annual Lost in Translation Poetry Event. We had over 60 registered participants from all over the state, in grades 4th to 12th grades.
