Join us for the 2024 VOCALE Spring Conference at Vermont State University, Castleton Campus in Castleton, VT on Friday March 22nd, 2024.  Registration begins at 8:15am, followed by a Welcome from our President, Keri Bristow at 9:00am.  

This year's theme is Student Engagement and Student Directed Learning.  New this year, we will have 3, one-hour sessions for you to choose from including interest- based groups with varying topics. We are also excited to welcome Carolina Gomez, Spanish teacher and the founder of 1-2-3 Spanish Together™, an early language program designed to teach Spanish to young children through music and movement.  She will be doing 2 workshops, one specifically for elementary language teachers. 

Other one-hour long workshops include:

• The Seal of Biliteracy
• Traveling with tudents
• Proficiency based teaching, learning and assessment
• Language teaching in the age of AI
• Swap Shop - a collaboration of ideas

Workshop selections will be made the day of the conference.  An agenda will be sent out soon.
